Mr. Frog’s Travels

The Travels of Mr. Frog

Years ago Mr. Frog disappeared for a few weeks. When he returned, he had pictures of himself from his impromptu vacation to Seattle, Washington. “He hasn’t left the wall since,” Mrs. Rivers said.

Here is his account of the adventure:

The flight from Augusta to Seattle was long and I passed the time reading a great Tom Clancey novel.

The flight attendants were really friendly. I was a little disturbed that the menu for lunch did not offer bugs! I thought the airlines catered to passengers who required special diets!

The next morning we headed to Anacortes to catch the ferry to the islands. The weather is beautiful and the visibility is great! You can see Mt. Rainer to the south and Mt. Baker to the east. They're in the middle of a heat wave here - 85 degrees! If they only knew . . .

We did a little whale-watching off Lime Kiln Park. There are 89 recorded orcas that live in Puget Sound in 3 pods (families). I think I saw a third of them. They are fantastic, awesome creatures!
